It was extremely hot - allegedly 46 degrees in the carpark at one point. We had a fascinating hour in a post office, trying to send a couple of parcels. Big time security there!!! Strolled down to a local bar and pizza joint for dinner. Think we might have to come home early after that effort!!!!!! Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 large local beers. The bill was correct and came to €10.20!!!!!!!!! Almost broke the bank!!!! + we have left overs! Who'd 'a' thunk it??? Xxx

We've arrived safely in Siena after an easy trip today. Our villa is spectacular with heaps of room, facilities and an amazing view (photo of Orcio - our villa). We've settled in, washing is on and we'll go for a bit of an explore soon. Apparently we are doing some cooking this week, so I s'pose we'll need some supplies!!! This week we plan to take day trips wherever it tickles our fancy! Should be relaxing and of course interesting!! There's a huge castle only...
