Another day, another medieval willage!!!! Volterra is just amazing with incredible amphitheater ruins thrown in!!! It still amazes us that people actually live in these tiny communities! We even found an electrical store hiding behind the ancient walls, so you could pick up a spare dishwasher or oven as you were passing!!! The views are breathtaking!! At about 580m up, is it any wonder?? We took another million landscape shots today (well maybe about 50!!) - you just can't resist these picture postcard scenes. Had fun driving around the countryside today - lots of skinny, windy roads with trucks and buses passing (very challenging!!). Anyway back at the Villa safe and sound ready for a cleansing ale! Again something that won't break the bank ... 660ml Nastro Azzurro or Heineys @ less than €1 a bottle!!!! Hip hip hooray and cheers! Cin-Cin!!! :-) xx
