And now for news of some serious cultural activity .... Today we did the usual walking tour .... around Cologne and it was quite fascinating, particularly seeing the archeological site where they're searching through 2000 years of history!!!! So if yesterday was Revelation Day, today must be Castle Day!! We joined The Rhine River this morning and saw an amazing procession of castles ..... all morning!!! We came into Braubach and then went to visit Marksburg Castle, the only medieval castle along the Rhine that, through the ages, has never been compromised, so is in original condition!!! Revelation Day today .... or is that Reformation Day??? We stopped in Wertheim, a large village in, of course, a very scenic location. We did a walking tour and then came to the first Lutheran church in our travels so far in Germany - Evang. Stiftspfarrei. Hooray!!!
