Our first night's dinner at Woolomin consisted of more vegies from our winnings. The next morning we got up and went for a walk around town - this took about 20 minutes! Our three nights at Woolomin were pretty much spent hanging by the camper and with David off on his motorbike.
After the first night our ownership of part of the campsite was interupted by the arrival of a family.Kylie's initial reaction was "wow" they're travelling with five kids. Then she said "wait there's a baby", David then replied "there is another baby!".This family had 7 kids ranging from roughly 12 to 3 months. They didn't say much to us but the people at the general store said they had just started their big trip of Australia - that would be hard work!
The family did find a good swimming hole at one spot in the river which we hadn't come across, so when they had finished down there we headed down for a swim and to freshen up!
We had some locals walking their horses around the campsite who stopped in for a chat. The area and people were lovely.
Our last night in Woolomin we got all dressed up - put our jeans on - and drove back toDungowan, where we had seen a pub as we drove through.Unfortunately, the pub wasn't doing meals that night. We ended up back at the camper eating soup and bread!
The next day we moved onto Port Stephens.
