As much as we love each other it has been fantastic to have new conversations with friends. It has been great to be in a house with friends and fun and laughter again. We can't thank you enough Margaret for a lovely home cooked meal. After 4 weeks on the road tonight has easily been the best feed we have had. You just can not beat a home cooked meal. Roast pork, my favorite.
We only had a few hours after checking out of our hotel to fill in. We left our bags with them and headed to the Imperial War Museum. It was fantastic seeing another war museum. Especially one from a nation at the forefront of WW1 & 2. We only had about 90 mins so we separated and agreed to meet at a set time. Of course Jac was back at our meeting point on time. Um yeah....sure.
We then collected our bags and headed to our train station to head to Birmingham. We can't tell you how excited we were to see Jo as we were coming down the escalators. To see such a close friend after traveling is such a joy that only other backpackers will understand. Jo taxied us back to her mums and Roger and Anne arrived for an amazing roast dinner. We will sleep tonight in a beautiful house, content with full bellies and the comfort you can only get by being amongst friends.
Tomorrow we will spend the day watching Jo shop, because Jac can't, and have a lovely relaxing day before yet another teary goodbye with J at the airport. Don't go Jo, don't go.
