It was goodbye to the out laws as our taxi arrived at 8.30am. It is always hard saying goodbye but at least we know we will be back in Australia in 8 weeks. We could feel the heat when we left the apartment in the morning. We wandered down the hilly streets & found a local place for some breakfast crepes. Then it was in a taxi who dropped us at the Ancient Agora to wander amongst the ruins. 30 degrees!!! I haven't had 30 since we left oz, but today that all changed. It's lovely to feel a nice warm day again, actually we were all feeling it. We left our apartment about 11am & wandered down the hill towards Athens. We found a cab & got him to drop us in the main area of Plaka. And so it was that our island adventures had come to an end. It will be hard to say goodbye to this lifestyle, but all good things must end. Not that we are heading off to something boring & mundane, far from it, just doing something different. Our last full day in the Greek Islands today, that's pretty sad, but we were prepared to make the most of it. Needless to say it was another nice day, top of 27 I think, with a slight breeze.
