Surprisingly we feel pretty good today. After all that liquid I thought we may have struggled but we survived. We are struggling with the lack of sleep and long days but we will survive. We are having an amazing time and have made a bunch of great friends. We loaded our coach early, again, and headed out of Munich. Tim (tour leader) & Phil (driver), who are both brilliant, have organised some unscheduled stops for us today. The rain was falling & the wind was cold. Looks like we have lost the sun for a few days now. After a few hours we stopped at Mauthausen, the last concentration camp liberated after the war. We were shown a 45 minute film relating to the camp & the holocaust. It was extremely upsetting but a piece of history that can never be forgotten. We then walked around the camp trying to comprehend just what these prisoners went through, which you never could. It was then time to leave and head on to our next beautiful city, Vienna. Here we checked in to the hostel then headed back out on the coach with a local guide. He took us on a walking tour of the city showing us the beautiful buildings. The biggest treat though was eating a cheese filled sausage. Is it wrong that was the highlight? I don't know. But these amazing cities are all blending in to each other which may have something to do with the pace of the trip. After the walking tour we were given an option to explore the city ourselves, or go with Phil to a local amusement park called Prater. Although we did rename it super happy fun land. We chose the park as it was an opportunity to do something different and we are glad we did. After arriving through a street lined with prostitutes we entered the park. Jac, Kez, Janet, Jack & I then went on a few rides and ate great Austrian food. Before we knew it it was time to return to the coach & back to the hostel. The day started out heavy then ended with a lot of fun. It was yet another amazing day on tour.
