Our earliest start yet as it is the longest drive of the tour. Jac & I wanted seats up the front of the bus so were lucky enough to get there first. With the prime seats taken we headed back & had a nice casual breakfast. Then we were off from Berlin & barreling down the highway to our final stop of Amsterdam. We were up early for our free breakfast. We knew our last day in Amsterdam would have to include the Anne Frank huis. After studying it when we were younger (I did read most of it) it was something we had to see. It is a very moving place. It is so sad what these people had to go through from the cruelty of 1 man. The house is a lot bigger than we were expecting but I guess pretty cramped when 8 people were hiding there. Will read the book again in the future and...

Our only real news from today was that we did some washing. We can only stretch our clothes out for so long but washing is one of those tasks that you want to delay. We have a laundromat just outside our front door which makes life easier. At least it's another week we can get by. We would both love to wear some different clothes but that won't be for awhile. We are hoping that Spain will at least let us get in t-shirts. Maybe a swim isn't out of the question. Ma...

We didn't leave our bedroom for any daylight hours. We were both very tired and knew that we had a pub crawl that night so just relaxed in the room. It didn't help that we woke to no hot water in the showers so we waited it out until it warmed up again. We joined a free tour of Amsterdam today to learn some history and see some sights. The city is so laid back in everything they do. There is no real thought that goes in to names. A church just around the corner from us is called New Church. This is because it was built after Old Church. It is the same with most names in the city.
