Crew Frivolous
Free camp, beautiful campground and didn't hear a single rifle shot. After bacon and eggs for breaky we all walked to the rim of the meteor Crater. Did you know this crater was created by a 50000 tonne rock travelling at 15 kms per second and left a hole that was 120 m deep, which is now only 20 m deep. I tell you if you keep reading this blog your going to learn heaps.
Back onto the bumpy road to Halls Creek for fuel and then out to China Wall for some more sight seeing. Another interesting fact, the China Wall runs all the way from Halls Creek to the Bungle Bungles, hope this is sinking in.
Next stop Fitzroy Crossing, set up camp and went to the pub for a meal and to watch the football. Somehow we managed to get there at unhappy hour, where you can only buy mid strength wine and beer at full strength prices. Anyway the food was good and the football was excellent.
