Wendy and Jen had told the boys that today was for sightseeing and that they could go fishing another day!!!

We set off up the road towards Cape Leveque. We arrived at Kooljaman Resort, payed the $5 each day pass fees and then wandered down the dusty road to look at Western Beach. The colours of both the rocks and the water were spectacular!! There were a couple of guys fishing and a few other tourists around.

Back up the track and down the boardwalk past the lighthouse to the beach on the eastern side. This was the safe swimming beach and there were a few in the water. You could also camp here, almost right on the beach. A great spot but very busy and booked out weeks ahead. We went for a walk up the beach and paddled in the warm water along the way.

We then drove up to One Arm Point and had a drive around the little community, stopping to take a couple of pics.

Our next stop was Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. We had a lovely lunch on the veranda overlooking the ocean and their newly built swimming pool.

Time to make tracks back to camp. Ken came and camped overnight with us. We had a few drinks and many laughs around the campfire.
