Wanaka, home to gorgeous walks, surrounding lakes and stunning backdrops...also the place where Dave has wanted to come since before we even got to NZ - Puzzling World.

We had a lovely picnic by the lakeside for lunch and then headed for Puzzling World. We were first greeted by the 1.5km, worlds first 2 tiered moden maze! It even has emergency exits for the most frustrated and people can walk up to 5km to try and get out of the thing! We did pretty well in doing the challenge of finding all 4 corner towers and even managed to find the exit without cheating!

We were then taken to the illusion rooms with faces that followed you, a room where one of you is a giant and the other is tiny and then the rooms where it looks like you are tilting - great photo opportunities!

We spent some time doing puzzles and not succeeding in any of them in the cafe before going back to the campsite, which seems to be overrun by cool Japanese snowboarders!
