A sleepless night thanks to the storm outside, we actually thought the van was going to topple over in the wind ! The first thing we did was find out about the weather for the next few days - oh dear! Rain, winds and storms for pretty much all of the North Island for the next 5 days! Had a nice relaxed morning wandering round Palmerston North, it is a really nice little city. We visited the National New Zealand Rugby Museum which would have been great for rugby fans, full of all sorts of historical memoribillia and interesting things. To us, who don't know anything about rugby it wasn't very interesting at all and made us wonder why we even went in the first place...
