Fiji countdown has now well and truly started (3 days to go) as we wind down the kiwi leg of our trip. As we are sure you are aware it can be hard to write anything remotley interesting about days like we've been having recently when we don't do anything! It all seemed such a good idea when we were starting out back in Thailand all those months ago...well, a good idea to at one of us who said he will remain nameless anyway... A beautifu sunny day! And another day just idly passing the time hanging round the beach and the campsite. It may appear pretty boring to those of you that still read the blog, but even it is, we're quite enjoying doing nothing! We went on a short walk round the bay which was made more entertaining by the conversation we were earwigging from in front of us. 2 Americans talking about how, like, their party was like so totally awesome and that like so many people ...

Ranining again this morning (not a great way to the start of a VERY quiet week) so unfortunately we didnt have much to do for most of the morning! When it did eventually clear up though we took a walk up into the town centre and spent the rest of the afternoon eating ice-cream and wandering aimlessly round the many shops! We even treated ourselves to a night at the flicks in the evening - slightly bored from having absolutely nothing to do during the day!

We moved a little closer to Auckland this morning stopping in Takapuna. A beautiful seaside town with lots of bars, restaurants, cafe's and shops. The perfect place to spend the next few days by the sea, relaxing and spending very little (well apart from having to buy our stuff for the holiday to Fiji!)
