Our darling daughter Amanda flew into Exmouth today. So great to see her again.
The day was spent loosening the purse strings. Bought a freezer so that we don't need to buy ice, a saving of at least $20 a day for the month we are here. Hanno's done the Maths and reckons we are far better off even if we finish up leaving it here.
Then we spent a couple of hours in Tackle World. The guy who appears on IFish with Paul each time he comes to Exmouth did a job on us and between Peter, Hanno and me we spent over $600! Still if we can land a few Marlin with the new gear and extra information it will probably be worth it. Time will tell.
Took Amanda up to the lighthouse from where you can get an aerial view of the Exmouth Penninsula, Cape Range and Ningaloo Reef.
More Spanish Mackeral for tea tonight. Sliced it into smaller pieces and improved the taste.
