Had an early start to catch the tide. Got some valuable info from some blokes who spend 3 months here each year. They have the tides sorted out so we followed their advise to the letter and had no further adventures like the previous expedition. Didn't blog yesterday. We went into Broome for the day mainly to get the car serviced but also to restock the fridges. Interesting day today. Started early to catch the low tide for a little mudcrabbing. Hanno had "hired" some metal hooks that are used to poke into likely looking holes and when you here the clicking of a crab defending itself, you manoeuvre the metre or so long hook to pull the crab out of its hole.
