Experienced how the other half lives yesterday when we spent the day at the Port Lincoln Cup. It is amazing how many people can attend a race meeting on a week day. Day started well with the first use of our new Seniors Cards. $20 entrance fee reduced to $10. These cards could be a winner. Cost $70 for the year but apparently will get us all kinds of discounts. The three days at Memory Cove provided us with some great memories. Highlights included a two hour walk with spectacular views, rock fishing in idyllic conditions (without ideal results) success with pulling cray pots and fishing, meeting some interesting fellow travellers, peace and tranquility and of course some quality time with the kids and some of their friends. Memory Cove in the Port Lincoln National Park must be one of the best kept secrets in SA. A pristine beach surrounded by natural scrub, it is a must see if you visit Lincoln. Boat trailer in Adelaide is now finished. Still a bit of work to do on the boat. The powder coating on the seat boxes being made has to be re-done. Will be ready Monday so the boat and trailer will be transported to Lincoln on Tuesday. Thats the good news.
