Today we headed north from Cape Keraudren. Filled up with water at Pardoo Roadhouse and stopped at 80 Mile Beach. Had a swim, saw a shark hooked by a beach fisho and washed the car and boat trailer at the "Wash Down Area" Continued north to Stanley Rest Area where Eleni and Pete treated us to a Pork Roast on the weberq.

17/05/14 Last day fishing at Cape Keraudren and we all headed out in Pete's boat. Trolling around the Cape we landed a couple of Queenies and a big Barracuda. Eleni caught the Cuda but if you see the photo you'll notice I'm holding the fish. This was because Eleni wouldn't hold it to pose for a photo. 15/4/14 Expectations were low after yesterday's unsuccessful fishing as the 6 of us headed out in our boat. At least we felt better informed about the tides. As we approached the "aircraft carrier" at the entrance, the lures were set and within a couple of minutes Pete's gold deep diver had a hookup. 14/5/14 Pete and I went for an early morning drive to the boat ramp to try and get some info on the tides around here. We were advised that Cape Keraudren was about 20 to 30 minutes different to Pt Headland so we headed into Pardoo Roadhouse some 15km away to collect a Pt Headland tide book and some ice. After spending the night camped on the banks of the De Grey River we woke to the sight of a spectacular camping area. For the second day in a row we arrived at our destination after dark.
