We decided to head into the local town on the bikes this morning and had a fun cycle down to a town which was much bigger than we had expected. We wandered down the Rambla, stopped for coffee and practised our Spanish before heading to the port and collecting some train timetables and tourist information - not quite sure where the time went really!

Unfortunately there was no way round the fact that we cycled downhill the entire 4km to the town and so we had to cycle uphill all the way back in the (by now) mid-afternoon sun...... so impressed with M&D as I was at the back and hoping that one of them was going to stop so that I could stop and get off and push the bike but they both kept going almost the entire way back before stopping for some water - by the time we made it back to the campsite they were both desperate to check out the swimming pool and the fact that it was unheated did not put them off!
