A really early start for our last adventure in Greece today and even with the clock change we managed to make it on time and find a space to park Bob in the tiny town. We headed for the cliffs with our climbing instructors and after first negotiating a ladder secured to a rocky wall we made our way to the climbing route and spent a fun morning trying to conquer the tricky rock faces....well, tricky for me - apparently not so tricky for the smaller people - but...

Another lazy day on the beach but we had to depart mid-afternoon to cross the Mani and park up in Agios Nikolaos ready for an early start in the morning. So after sad farewells we headed off on one of the most deserted but stunning drives yet, enjoying the beautiful spring flowers on the mountains as Bob wound across the peninsula to descend into a tiny harbour late afternoon with just enough room for us to park up and enjoy one last Mothers Day Mythos in Gree...

Another beach day, the weather was perfect, the entire contents of the garage were strewn all over 'our' beach as we made the most of the deserted sands and new friends to play with. Dinner at the local taverna for more fun and games rounded off the day nicely.

This wonderful place gets compared to Gibraltar because it is a huge rock connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway but I think that is probably where the similarities end really. I liked Gibraltar, more than I thought I would but this was so different. You stand on the mainland and you look at a huge rock rising out of the sea and you have no idea what lies out there.
