Lazy day at the campsite today - some football, some tennis, some sitting by the pool and lots of waterslides with new friends with an inflatable tube.

We decided to head into the local town on the bikes this morning and had a fun cycle down to a town which was much bigger than we had expected. We wandered down the Rambla, stopped for coffee and practised our Spanish before heading to the port and collecting some train timetables and tourist information - not quite sure where the time went really! Unfortunately there was no way round the fact that we cycled downhill the entire 4km to the town and so we had to ...

We set off in the dark this morning - not that early but the sun is not rising until nearly 8.30 here in Spain so we watched the sun rise as we drove through the wine region and on towards the Mediterrean coast. Some how we managed nearly 6 hours of driving - hopefully the longest drive we're going to have to do for a while - and so treated ourselves to dinner at the campsite restaurant once we were all settled in.... all ready for a few days of half-term holida...
