After spending the morning at the campsite we decided to head for the beach and followed the path to Los Escullos beach only to be slightly disappointed as it didn't quite look like the ones in the postcards.... We climbed over the rocks to the fort used to protect the town from pirates and then decided to head instead for the slighly larger town that we could see in the distance. This meant walking along the beach and clambering up the rocks at the far end only to find that this was private land, so we skirted around following the edge of the cliff until we picked up an 'actual' path which was very crumbly and slippy, and after only a couple of slips (Daniel and Mum) and Megan's camera being very temperamental we made it to town and found one cafe open for ice cream. After quickly scoffing the ice creams we had to head straight back to avoid being on the dodgy unlit path after dark!
