Slightly thrown by waking up to rain this morning putting pay to our day by the pool and so we decided to get the bus into Barcelona. Without much planning we managed to get off at the right stop and head down Las Ramblas to the Mercado de la Boqueria where we enjoyed a very varied lunch put together from the many market stalls before heading on to Place Reial with M&D now in full flow with the photography. We set off in the dark this morning - not that early but the sun is not rising until nearly 8.30 here in Spain so we watched the sun rise as we drove through the wine region and on towards the Mediterrean coast. Some how we managed nearly 6 hours of driving - hopefully the longest drive we're going to have to do for a while - and so treated ourselves to dinner at the campsite restaurant once we were all settled in.... all ready for a few days of half-term holida...

I think it's safe to say that we all loved this place! Completely unexpected as we were just hoping for somewhere ok to sleep the night before heading on, we were stunned by the amazing setting of this nature park and couldn't resist spending the day there. We all slept quite well and enjoyed our breakfast on the ferry but within a couple of hours, as we hit the Bay of Biscay, Megan and Mummy returned to the cabin and stayed there for most of the day - whilst Daniel met Pierre le Bear and watched a 3d printer (and won a free key-ring for his patience!).
