Plans have been made! We've got a hostel at the base of Mount Olympus and plan to hike to the summit on Sunday the 5th. As for afterwards Jeff and I are slowly putting together our trip through Italy and Switzerland and who knows where else. So far I have tickets from Madrid to Dublin to Glasgow, Edinburgh to Rome, Rome to Venice.... no return ticket yet!
Tomorrow I have my first swim competition as a "Delfine Cacereno" (Caceres Dolphin) in Merida. I'm swimming the 50 Butterfly (mariposa) 100 IM (estilos) and 50 free (crol). I've come a long way since I started 3 weeks ago or so, but don't expect any PR's this weekend. I'm still getting used to the 100 meters/100 yards thing too-- I thought doing underwater 25's on the minute was bad in yards, it seems like forever in meters!
I didn't have class at all today--I usually have a toxicologia class on Fridays but our professor broke his finger and went to Galicia (on the north coast) where his brother's a doctor... so I found that out after I walked all the way to the University. And apparently the Mechanics class can only be found by those who know where it is, because again today I stood in the classroom holding my schedule and there was nobody there. But of course when I ask for help they just assume I can't read my schedule...
That's my biggest complaint so I guess I'll take a nap on the terrace and deal with it. Today is homework for the weekend, nap, swim practice. And a couple meals too, and maybe a little wii with Sara...
