This week flew by, especially with only 3 days of class. Today it's finally nice out; this morning I got to go for a run to La Virgin de La Montana—a cathedral on top of the mountain just outside the city. Yesterday we all piled in Ginny and Kathryn's host mom's car and drove up to see it. The view was 10X better today though for sure!Unfortunately, my host mom said there's no place to rent a bike around here or I'd be doing that this afternoon.
The sports facility at the school is pretty nice, what we got to see at least. Club sports don't start up for a little while since the university is in finals right now, but we've got some tentative US v Spain competitions in the works with our Spanish friends.
Last night it rained so the outdoor concert we were going to go to was a bust, so it was an early night.
Right now I'm sittin in the sun on the rooftop terrace, eating a kiwi and listening to Flamenco music. Tomorrow we're planning a trip to El Malpartido de Caceres, a place just outside the city with caves and stone carvings, so hopefully the weather is nice again.
Hasta luego!
