First night in Brussels; everything is going great except this French keyboard. We ended up in a hostel for the night-- our couch surfing guy was nice and showed us around the city today but he was in the process of remodeling his grandparents pub into a house and art gallery and among other things his 'bathroom' was outside!! So the we decided unanimously to stay in the city: at a youth hostel which is really nice. My first hostel experience, and it seems really cool. We have a 4 person room which suits us nicely, there's a common area with computers, a bar, and a patio where we all hang out.
