Another great week in Caceres. Its Sunday afternoon, I just got back from Mass (the usher no longer asks me if I'm there for a tour!!!) and in a little bit we're meeting up at the Gastronomic Fair. This week has been the Caceres Film Festival, there was some sort of awards show here last night televised nationally.

I've booked flights to Athens for spring break! I'll be there about 8 days; I'm looking into some cool side trips around Greece, it's going to be a ton of fun. I'm coming back on Thrusday the 9th and spending a day in Madrid before taking a night bus to Seville. There I'm meeting up with another Spanish friend Bea and we're going to do some sightseeing and enjoy all the religious processions too, and maybe go to the beach... that'd be nice.

We also booked bus tickets to Lisbon for the weekend of the 21st, and we're looking at taking a shorter weekend trip to Segovia on the 28th.

But the most important news of the week is that I went biking yesterday morning!!!

I joined the triathlon club here and we swam at 8 am Saturday morning, and afterwards they were talking about going on a bike ride. One guy wasn't going so he offered me his bike for the day--and his helmet and jeresey--and five of us went for a nice ride. Roundabouts on a bike are a LITTLE scary, but we weren't on a busy road so they weren't too bad. And no, I didn't crash, fall over, get a flat or anything! Last night we all got together again and ordered a bunch of Chinese food and watched the FC Barcelona game.

Sometimes, ok all the time, its hard to keep up with the converstation--when everyone's talking at once its hard to understand everything, but we had a lot of fun.

Today I'm taking it easy, just getting ahead on homework and looking into trip plans.
