Success! We managed to get the iPad working, albeit loosing 6500 stored photos and 4 hours at the iPad doctor!
We decided to try and persevere getting the iPad fixed so we stayed in town, and did some local sightseeing.
We did a guided tour of the York Ministry (Cathedral) which was really interesting,it has the largest stained glass window in the world, which is undergoing restoration which will take 15 years and 12 million pounds!
The guide explained about the scenes depicted in the windows which was enlightening!
We then traveled down shambles which is a famous street in York, Sarah did a Ghost Walk last night so was a bit freaked out and would not go into the church crypt!
We journeyed along the city wall on our way back to the Hotel, just chilling out in the bar with a cider!
