Today we travelled to Cork, on the way we stopped at Blarney Castle, we climbed the tower (105) steps! and Sarah kissed the Blarney Stone, I was the official photographer ( and I was still getting over the trauma of the spiral staircase). We started with a city tour, very surprising city with lots to see and do. We went to the Dublin Museum to try and understand Irish history, unfortunately we could not take photos. We then travelled to the Guinness Museum which was enlightening! Our tour included a free sample and at the end of the tour we got a free pint! I managed the sample but passed on the freebie. An early start, we had to travel back to Holyhead, North Wales to catch the ferry to Island. Really nice drive, but could not stop which was a pity! The ferry was eventful with Sarah and I both feeling unwell, the rolling seas were unrepentant until the last hour, when we reached the Irish Sea, which was surprisingly calmer, just!
