Bit of a "Fail Whale" day today, Sean (our navigator) decided to take us the scenic way to Newcastle whilst it was scenic it did take us longer than expected, we had the worst lunch (ever) in a place called Morphet.
It was raining when we arrived in Newcastle! We are still having technical problems with Sarah's camera, it needs to be sent away to be fixed! We decided to buy a small digital camera so we could continue taking plenty of snaps.
Without a way to get around, driving was really not an option, the city centre has 10,000 car parking spaces with less than 100 left, this didn't seem like a good option so we opted for local buses.
Unfortunately by the time we got into town the city sightseeing buses had stopped operating, last bus was at 3.00pm which is a little unusual.
The rain continued to tumble, and we decided to go to the movies! Hoping to get to see more tomorrow, we are keen to see Hadrian's wall which is quite close.
