Today we traveled from Newcastle to Scarborough on the way we stopped at a few famous sites!
Hadrian's Wall this basically splits Scotland from England (during Roman Conquests) we then traveled to Corbridge to visit Roman ruins, then onto Castle Aydon for a quick visit.
After lunch we called in at Whitby Abbey, spectacular buildings (ruins) that means 4 heritage sites in one day! This is our record to date. We arrived at Scarborough late in the day, no city bus, so we caught the local bus to try and get our bearings! The hotel is kind of interesting, bit like Faulty Towers, pretty old (sad) right on top of cliff, no view unfortunately! Sarah thinks it may be haunted!
