Well not much to report, last day in the Big Apple, we had brekky at Hard Rock Cafe and did some shopping at Maceys. Currently sitting at JFK airport waiting to catch our flight home, we have been delayed 3 hours so we won't depart until 10pm :( Well this will be my last blog, our trip is coming to an end, we have had a great trip, with plenty of great memories! We had a slower day (in a way) we made our way to the Metropolitan Museum (MET). We looked at some modern art which included some Picasso's and Andy Warhol! not everyday you get to see these works of art. The Met is situated in Central Park so it has a great cafe on the rooftop, good place to get some photos. We had lunch in Time Square, and headed back to Ground Zero for a closer look. Fantastic day! We commenced the day as usual on the sightseeing bus, seriously though only way to get around! We did the Uptown loop which took us to Harlem, 5th Avenue, Broadway and Central Park. We then found the ferry on the Hudson River, we had a 90 minute cruise which included a close up with the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and several bridges. Wow! We had hoped our days in London would prepare us for New York, but we were mistaken, it is truly overwhelming! We arrived at 2.30am! So we had to wait to this morning to have our first real look. Our hotel is in a fantastic location, we are on the 29th floor and overlook Times Square.
