Perfect weather for our bus trip to the most Northern tip of Ireland, we were so far North we got to see Scotland!
We stopped of at Carrickfergus Castle, on the way North to the spectacular Carrick a Rede rope bridge. We hiked 1km to the bridge (well Sarah did) I fell short, she crossed the bridge and had an awesome view of the coast.
We passed by another historic castle at Dunluce before making our way to the Giant Causeway which is the 8th Wonder of the World! Irish folklore tells us that the giant causeway was created by giants, it's pretty amazing, Sarah scrambled over them to get some great photos.
Last stop was at the Bushmills distillery Sarah was hoping to get a free sample but "fail whale" there was no samples to be had!
We returned to Belfast late in the evening tired but impressed with the scenery.
Castle count now 14, Sarah's photo count today 197.
