Fantastic day today, great weather! Whilst we were disappointed in Glasgow, Edinburgh was another story!
We drove to the park and ride centre and caught a bus into Edinburgh city, good move as both the Military Tattoo and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival are in town. Plenty of people around, but the city seemed to cope well, we took our usual city tour to get our bearings.
We visited Edinburgh Castle (15) it was excellent, we walked around for a couple of hours.
We managed to get some Fringe Festival tickets (half price) and took in a show, it was awesome, there were hundreds of people in the streets when we came out of the theatre! it was great walking around taking in the atmosphere.
Had dinner in a local pub, before traveling back to Stirling. Big day but really enjoyable.
