Arrived in Nottingham after lunch, drive from York pretty boring, Sean took us along the motorways, we just crisscrossed from one motorway to the other. Lots of trucks!
Nottingham unimpressive, although we have been to so many capital cities we probably expect more.
It has a castle, but in would rate low on our castle meter, it's run by the local council but has no real tourist appeal.
We walked around and looked at local attractions (didn't take long) our hotel 3pm out of town so we used local tram service.
Unable to book any tours, so we are going to drive ourselves to Sherwood Forest tomorrow! Sarah keen to go horse-riding in the forest? Should be interesting.
