We caught a local bus to Glasgow today, and we were a little underwhelmed by Glasgow city. It was very busy, a lot of road works and miserable weather, Sarah only took 47 photos so that's a good indicator of our enthusiasm!
We stayed on the city bus but could not see anything we wanted to see again, so went shopping instead! We also had to get away from the Americans from hell, US cruise ship in town so as usual they've taken over!
Had a bit if drama on the way home, we got the wrong bus back, we got the local, local bus which stopped everywhere, it took 1.5 hrs and we almost missed getting the car out of the parking station. The parking station closed at 6.30pm and Sarah ran over to try and rescue the car (Sheba) our ticket said 6.29pm so we were very lucky!
Found a nice pub to have dinner, just made the ordering deadline! Sarah managed to get me hooked on cider, so we celebrated our good fortunes in style.
