Did a couple of loads of washing this morning and made a picnic lunch. We drove out towards Dampier and turned off up the road towards the gas plant where we had been told to go see the aboriginal rock art there. As it is not sign posted we followed instructions by the Visitor Centre and found the track. The etchings on the rocks were hard to find to start with but then once you see one and look around you can see lots of the art on the rocks. Different to the other rock art we have seen, this seems to be etched into the rocks. We then moved on to Dampier and the statue of Red Dog where we took some photos. We found a nice lawned area on the foreshore and had our picnic lunch. We then drove back towards the airport to see Adam who was flying in at 12.50 pm. We had about 10 to 15 minutes with him before he had to fly off again back to Perth. On the way back we took a couple of photos of the Tambrey Centre where Shane used to work and then went into town. Gerry had to go back to the Commonwealth Bank to sign some papers and we did a bit of grocery shopping and had a coffee. Back to camp and started to pack up for departure tomorrow. Lamb chops for dinner!
