It was a nasty morning when we left Perth with heavy rain, heavy traffic and uphill so it was slow going for our departure. We drove to Coolgardie and arrived around 4 pm. We checked in at the Coolgardie Caravan Park and went to the IGA for water. Had a shower in the van and ventured to the Denver City Hotel for dinner. Had a drink in the bar and were the only two in the dining room for dinner - we both chose the scotch steak which was served with salad and chips and was ok.
