We started off the day early as I had to take Gerry out to the golf club to meet David and Julie Burke by 8.15 am. I went for my 3.5 km walk again but a bit concerned about roaming dogs so might have to change course. Did some shopping whilst waiting for the folders to finish then picked Gerry up and we all went back to the shopping centre for lunch. Gerry had to sign some papers at the Commonwealth Bank and he then had a hair cut. We came home and Gerry washed the patrol. We went to the airport hoping to see Adam but the plane was delayed so left it till Wednesday when he has another flight up here from Perth. We went over to Dampier then to the park where David and Julie were camped about 5 pm. Had some nibbles and drinks watching the sun set. Again ore trains 2 km long pull loads into the wharf and load onto ships bound for China and India. We went to a motel nearby and had a $25 all you can eat meal. Then went up to the Hotel for a look - the skimpy bar! One of the bar girls in very skimpy bikini prancing around and lots of workers, loud music and it stunk of stale grog. We played a couple of games of pool. Gerry and Julie finally beat us. Came home about 10 pm and showered as we have an early start tomorrow on our tour.
