We took a drive over to Northam only 25 klms away this morning for a look and a coffee. Went to the visitor centre where they had a display of the immigrants during the late 40's and early 50's which was really interesting. I phoned the medical clinic early and got an appointment at 9.30 so showered and headed down there. The Dr who was from Adelaide gave me some antibiotics for my throat. We were up early and left Mingenew by 8 am. It rained through the night and is much cooler now. My throat is still sore - can't believe it has been sore for so long.
