Gerry and I got up around 6.30 and went for a walk and collected some wood for the fire. We stoked it up and Gerry cooked bacon and I cooked eggs for everyone. After packing up we headed off towards Laverton. We made a lunch stop at Tjukayirla roadhouse and filled up with fuel. The road was good condition with quite a few sandy spots which caused us to slow down some. Barnie and Lyn and the Bourkes saw some herds of camels but as we were tail end Charlie today we missed them. We have pulled in to a roadside stop to camp at about 3 pm. We have collected wood, lit a fire and organized a combined pasta night. Cool night and a little windy but it seems to die down in the evening.
