This morning I had very sore shoulders- not legs which I thought I would have after all the walking yesterday but shoulders killing me. Anyway I did two loads of washing before 8am and hung it out early. After breakfast we went for a drive out to Red Bluff and the Mushroom Rock and did both walks which took a couple of hours to do both and went back to town for a coffee. Up early again as Gerry, David and Julie were playing golf at 9 am. After breakfast we went to the golf shop to pick up golf clubs for Gerry and to the golf course to meet the others by 9 am. My hair appointment was 9 am also so I headed there after I dropped them off. I had my hair dyed and went and had a bit of a look in the shops. Up at 7 and after breakfast headed back to the highway and southward to Kalbarri - around 400 klms. We stopped at the Billabong Roadhouse, fuel led up and had a cup of tea. The wildflowers are everywhere- carpets of yellow, white, pink and purple - very pretty. As we got closer to Kalbarri, the wheat crops were evident as well as some canola.
