Left Hervey Bay after a nice slow couple of nights, is such a beaut spot, a great foreshore and very long walking track, reckon about 10 kms!! Another beautiful day driving north, via the Bruce Hwy and Childers and then onto Bundaberg. Outside of Bundaberg we stopped at an amazing Strawberry farm where we bought some yummy berries. We were also very impressed by the large market gardening industry in that area, beaut rich red soil! From there we headed to Agnes Waters and got a few supplies and checked out the beach, reminded us a bit of Broken Head coastwise. A few kilometres further was 1770, named in honour of the visit by Captain Cook and his Endeavour, a most beautiful waterway area. Will check it out more tomorrow with a walking explore. Have set up in a bush camping Caravan Park about 2 kms from 1770. Just had a yummy dinner that Charlie cooked on his baby webber. Feeling weary so not long out of bed. Has been nice to slow down.
