After our Croc river adventure we crossed the Daintree Ferry n headed to Cape Tribulation then from there we ventured onto the Bloomfield Track. On Wednesday we left Cairns to head north to Daintree after spending a lovely 4 nights in Cairns. Yesterday Ch n I organised with a local butcher to Cryovac our meat supplies for the next few weeks. While he was sorting that we went into Cairns to do some last minute jobs, go to a camping shop n get a few last food supplies. After booking in2 our Park we headed into The Waterfront area for an explore. We had a great walk around the foreshore checked out the very crowded with backpackers large swimming pool, listened to some live music, walked around the Marina n the outside of the Casino. Today we were woken 'early' by the V8 Supercars as they were warming up for the Townsville Challenge. Once we were organised we went for another walk along the foreshore, the Strand and around the Marina.
