Our last day! We had a lie in this morning, had breakfast and then checked out. We left our suitcases at the hotel and got a train into Sorrento.
We had a potter around, looking in the pretty shops and enjoying the view out to sea. I looked down rather jealously at those on the beach, swimming in the clear water.
We walked through a lemon grove, where the photo was taken. It was very picturesque and there was a stall there where you could do limoncello tastings.
Adam also bought some Blazers on our travels around the shops. There were 2 Blazers, each were 60 euro reduced to 10 so he saved 100 euro overall.
We stopped and had lunch at a little bar, it was our cheapest meal yet. We each had arrancini balls to start then Adam had a calzone whilst I had a Napoli roll. I got ice cream to finish and Adam got a pastry. We washed it all down with wine, coke and water. And the price? 14 euros!! Everything was delicious too.
We really like Sorrento and think it's a nice place you could easily come for a week whereas some of the other places were really just sightseeing destinations this could be a real 'holiday' place. I'd love to come back. It's 30 degrees today so quite warm but perfect pool weather!
We returned back to the hostel and chilled in the courtyard which is where we are now. We've got some drinks and are reclining in the loungers. We've got a private car coming to get us in an hour to take us to the airport.
It's been the best holiday ever and I've enjoyed every second with my perfect travelling partner!
