(14th) Head out for Newport, Oregon! Good travel til we reach the bridge over the Columbia into Oregon - BIG traffic! A little hold up but not too long, maybe 15 minutes. Enter Oregon at 10:45 a.m.

Mt. Hood in the distance. Even with lots of traffic we still arrive Newport at 2:40 pm and are met by our dear friend Clay.

A great day and back in Newport, 2 yrs. is too long to stay away.

(15th) We woke up and we're in Newport! YAY! Temp. 49 degrees.

We had a peaceful day and just enjoyed being here and seeing Clay and the pier and the bridge and sunsets.

(16th) 47 degrees. Another sunny, chilly day and really blowing a lot today. See the tuna catch come in and our friend brings us a bunch of Dungeness Crab and some really big Halibut filets!
