300 miles to Odessa, Missouri

States today: Illinois and Missouri

Saying for the day: The best way to teach kids about taxes is to eat 30% of their ice cream.
A sunny, clear day for travel; nice after 2 days of rain. Sunny Sunday! Cross the Mississippi River at 9:45 in St. Louis and the Arch in the distance. (ZERO TRAFFIC) The bridge is named the Stan Musial Veteran's Memorial Bridge. Enter Missouri. Great travel on a Sunday, very little traffic.
Cross the Mississippi, Missouri and Laramie Rivers. We’re starting to hear Western sounding names.
Arrive Country Gardens RV Park at 1:50. The country store is located about 25 yards from our site.
Our next stop will be Onawa, Iowa

Steve Townsend Missouri loves their guns because Chicago is too close lol
Bryan Getty 30% of your kids ice cream! Awesome! I often charge a "dad tax" by eating the first few of Jack's fries when we go thru the drive thru. It's all about preparing him for the real world. ;-) LOL
Elaine You eating chocolate sweets? What torture for us chocholics who only see a bag, to water out taste buds. How could you?
Jacob Ainsworth Very neat Will!
Linda Spencer So fun watching your progress through the states. Glad you had a sunny day on Sunday. Everything looks so pretty in the sun. I was surprised to see the grass so green at your site there. Looks like a great site. Love the country store -- especially the chocolate! Miss you guys!

Betty K Hope that beautiful weather follows you all the way.
Mary Parsley Since your larder is so full you won't have room to buy too much at the country store! Maybe you can find an empty corner.
William Perry I'm jealous! We begin our journey on the 9th. Great idea, creating a blog. Safe travels, looking forward to your next entry.
