Saying for the day: When you hold grudges, your hands aren't free to catch blessings.
12th: Our friend Clay comes for our final Fish Feast. Shrimp, salmon and halibut. And that salmon was fantastic. As a side note: the only fish we paid for while here in Newport was the shrimp. Clay has a lot of good friends who are fishermen and they share with him and he likes to share with us. We have been blessed.
14th: We take a drive to Seal Rock to get some video of the ocean and the haystacks - so beautiful. We were warned about a baby gull near the really big rock - not to go near because it was injured. But no harm in that, Momma was always nearby for anyone or any other bird if they got too close.
15th: Work at getting the truck and trailer ready to go tomorrow; Will washes them both and earlier had painted both sets of steps and put new carpet on them. They were unbelievable after the roads in Alaska and YT. We go out for steaks with Clay, a last time together with him.
