Had a sleep in and then had breakfast at the hotel before setting out to the Floibanen, the funicular up to Mt. Floyen. Magnificent views over the city and surrounds from the top des[ite the rain setting in.

Weather was cold, wet and windy but we continued on catching the funicular back down to Bergen and walking down to Bryggen, the World Heritage listed old town of Bergen with its crooked wooden buildings and alleyways.

The rain was coming down hard now and we lost an umbrella to the wind and my shoe started to leak! We walked on to the Rosenkrantz Tower and did the walking tour of the tower taking some photos of Hakons Hall and the harbour area from the top of the tower. We then walked back through Bryggen to the hotel to dry off before going out for lunch at the shopping centre next to the train station.

After lunch we returned to the hotel for a rest and pack our bags for an early trip to the airport tomorrow for our flight to Longyearbyen. Went out for dinner at 6.30pm and ate at TGI Friday next to the hotel then returned to the hotel to shower and finish packing for tomorrow.
