Woke up at 6.45am and had breakfast at the hotel. Walked across to train station to begin our Norway in a Nutshell tour with a train trip from Bergen to Voss on the 8.40am train. Train was crowded with kids going skiing. Arrived in Voss and switched to a bus to take us to Gudvangen on the Naedroyfjorden. Scenic bus trip past frozen lakes and waterfalls.

At Gudvangen we boarded the boat for our 2 hour cruise on the Naedroyfjorden and Auslandsfjorden. Magnifcent scenery with mountains, frozen waterfalls and small farms and villages clinging to the flat land between the mountains and the fjord. No rain but the weather was cold so a lot of people stayed inside the boat which means we had free reing outside to take photos and video of the scenery.

Arrived in Flam at the end of the cruise and had lunch at the local cafe and wandered around the small town area. We then boarded Flamsbana, a scenic train trip up to Myrdal with a stop at a semi-frozen waterfall, Kjosfossen.

Arrived in Myrdal in light snow and then boarded the train back to Bergen. Arrived back in Bergen at 6pm. Back to the hotel to rest and then out to dinner before bed at 11.30pm due to the clocks going forward for daylight savings.
