Arrived in Budapest from Ljubljana at 11am and passed through immigration. Got some local currency from the ATM at the airport and the took the airport shuttle bus to our hotel, Marriott Budapest.

After checking in and having a rest in the hotel we went out for lunch before catching the metro to Keleti Station to validate our rail pass. After waiting in line for ages we finally validated the pass and caught the metro back to the hotel.

Went out for dinner at 6.30pm and ate at a Chinese restaurant near the Elizabeth Bridge. Food was OK without being great. Returned to hotel for a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed!
